Our nationwide network of over 12,000 health professionals deliver on-site health services with outstanding participant satisfaction. TotalWellness gets involved in the community so we can walk the talk. We believe our impact on the community spreads our vision. TotalWellness believes that being healthy improves people\u2019s lives, which is why our team volunteers and\/or participates in local runs, triathlons and other community wellness activities. For example, our Founder and President is also the founder of Race Omaha which hosts local sports events to encourage more physical activity in our community.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Alan Kohll<\/strong>
Alan Kohll is the founder and president of TotalWellness. He oversees the planning and execution of all functions to support the company\u2019s strategic direction. His passion for health promotion and disease prevention inspired him to start the company in 1998. With over 25 years of experience in the wellness industry, Alan is a respected thought leader, writer, and speaker on topics like the importance of well-being, employee engagement,<\/span> and organizational culture. He regularly writes for Forbes and hosts the Inspiring Healthy Workplaces<\/a> podcast.<\/p>\n

Alan is also a certified Race Director and Coach with USA Triathlon. He played an instrumental role in bringing the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships to Omaha, Nebraska in 2016 and 2017. Alan currently serves on the board of Active Living Advisory Committee in Omaha and in the past has served on the boards of WELLCOM and Friedel Jewish Academy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tom Safranek, MD
<\/strong>Dr. Thomas Safranek serves as Chief Medical Officer for TotalWellness. His responsibilities include overseeing clinical operations and ensuring participants receive high-quality services.<\/p>\n

Dr. Safranek joined TotalWellness in 2021, following over 30 years in applied epidemiology in Nebraska’s Department of Health and Human Services. As the state epidemiologist, Dr. Tom Safranek tracked the population\u2019s overall health and its various health problems. Safranek also researched preventable and \u201cfixable\u201d health issues, such as motor vehicle safety, tobacco use, nutrition and diet and alcohol use.<\/p>\n

Dr. Safranek earned his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine and has focused his career on public health, informatics and preparedness initiatives.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
